QUALITY ASSURANCE, FOOD SAFETY AND HEALTH SAFETY

On a monthly basis we receive and process tons of meat, coming from selected domestic and European certified livestock units that meet operational requirements in accordance with Greek and European legislation on food safety and quality.

Our facilities are hygienically designed and their organization and operation is based on software automation of all those procedures and controls imposed by international standards and Food Safety and Hygiene Management Systems.

This means that all certified specifications are met:

• food quality (HACCP & ISO 9001 CERTIFIED)

• cleanliness and hygiene (FSSC 22000 CERTIFIED)

• responsible for the environmental footprint (ISO 14001 CERTIFIED)

In addition, within the unit, we have our own department of veterinarians and food technologists, who systematically conduct sampling and food inspections. More specifically, our department consists of two veterinarians and eight food technologists, who perform microbiological and chemical macroscopic examinations on a monthly basis.

​MEASURES AGAINST COVID – 19

Since the beginning of the pandemic, our company has taken all the relevant protection measures, as defined by the Greek Ministry of Rural Development & Food, as well as extra measures, fully covering all those measures that can be taken and implemented within a large working space.

More specifically, in the industrial unit Attika Meat Voudouris – Konstas we apply the following anti-Covid 19 measures:

• Employee Temperature Checks
• Use of antiseptic solution
• Use a mask in all spaces
• Maintaining distances
• Covid-19 test on a weekly basis

In order to be able to maintain distances, we have extended the schedule, so that the large number of staff is divided and significantly reduced in number, through different shifts.
